If you're concerned that a staff member is abusing their power or mistreating you, this is where you should come to talk about it. Please remember to be polite or at least civil, and remain calm, so that we can more easily understand and help you-- remember, the last thing you want to do while complaining about someone is appear to be a problem yourself by antagonizing others. This is also required for reports made about fellow players.

The staff member that you wish to make a report of will be contacted and there will be a staff-wide meeting to discuss whether or not the report appears to be accurate; if it is, we will take the appropriate steps to correct the situation and prevent further misbehavior. If it is not deemed accurate, there will be no steps taken towards you for making a report of any kind, so long as the report was a valid concern (reports that are not civil and/or do not have a reasonable basis will be considered spam). In all cases, staff will reply to the report and talk to you further about your concerns, how and why it happened, and generally to gather more information. Once the team has decided, you will be contacted about the results. Remember that in all cases our staff has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse of power, and does not play favorites; you should not be afraid of retaliation from a staff member should you file a report. If you are met with retaliation, please contact us immediately.

(Most complaints can be fit into two categories: Mistreating Players and Power Abuse. If it doesn't fit in one of those, please come up with a concise description in less than five words (if possible) for the general type of issue.)

(At the very least, a date is required, and an approximate time (as well as your timezone). It's best to have an exact time if you can, but if you aren't sure, please stick to an estimate or a time range.)


[b]Was anyone else present when this happened?[/b]

(This isn't calling anyone out; we're merely asking so that we can check with people to confirm the report.)


[b]What, in as much detail as you can, do you remember happening?[/b]

(Here's where you can tell us exactly what happened. We won't ask you to give us every detail ("I turned to the left ninety degrees, then turned back to the right"), but we will ask that you give us as much detail as you can in terms of the correct order of events, the interactions you saw happen, what the staff member did, and what they were responding to (if anything), as well as how they responded to you. If you get frustrated while retelling it, we won't fault you for it, but please refrain from insulting anyone if you can and try to keep things as clear as possible.)

(Screenshots, copies of logs, etc are all good things to include here if you had the forethought and/or time to collect them. We won't disregard your report if you have no screenshots or logs, because we can check logs on the server, but your report is more likely to be answered quickly if you can help us this way.)
